History

Light's at Stone Mill is a locally owned, service-oriented business that has been
making a difference in the community for over 70 years! The mill has its roots in
the Highland Mills of Virginia, back in 1808. It was picked up by a man named Stone, which marked the beginning of Stone Mill. It was then purchased by Roy Light, pictured on the right, in 1940 and renamed Light's Milling Company. Since then, it has grown from a barter and cash flour and corn mill to a major feed supplier and producer, expanding both in size and products to meet our customer's needs.


Here at Light's we are willing to go the extra mile for any of our customers.
